Senior Day at La Quinta Museum

December 18th, 2008

The main gallery at our museum is open (free) to the public Wednesday - Sunday.  However, for the special exhibit, “Last Stand: America’s Virgin Lands” , there is a $7 fee.  (Members of the LQ Historical Society get in free.)  On Thursday, December 18, all senior citizens will be admitted free of charge to this beautiful photographic exhibit.  It pictures five regions of the U.S. (wetlands, grasslands, woodlands,  drylands, and coastal) that are disappearing with land developments.  So come on over, senior citizens, and take advantage of this free day (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).  And while you’re there, visit the food and agriculture exhibit, the huge La Quinta mural, and the gift shop!

Everyone had a wonderful time at the La Quinta Resort Tour!
