Pat Flanagan, consultant with the Desert Protective Council, will be giving a presentation on William Blake to coincide with the Museum’s “Visions Past & Present of the Salton Sea”.  Blake was the first geologist to come from north tosouth in the basin and made the first geologic map of the area.

The women in Flight exhibit chronicles the lives of women pilots from the dawn of aviation through the modern day space program.  Aviatrix’s such as Jacqueline Cochran andAmelia Earhart as well as astronaut Sally Ride will be featured.
